A reminder that next week will be the final week of extra curricular clubs. The Autumn 1 Clubs timetable will be emailed on Tuesday 2nd September and Bexton Clubs will be made available for booking on Wednesday 3rd September at 12pm. Clubs will begin week commencing Monday 8th September.
Reading Books
Please could all school reading books be returned by Wednesday 9th July so that we can carry out our end-of-year stock check. We kindly ask parents to double-check bookshelves and bags at home, as replacing lost books can be costly. Over the summer, we encourage children to make use of the local library to continue their regular reading. Thank you for your support.
Reminder for Nursery and Pre-School Families
Please ensure that children are supervised at all times while on the school premises, including during drop-off and pick-up times. We kindly ask that children remain within designated areas and avoid any spaces that have been taped off. This is for the safety and wellbeing of all children. Thank you for your support.
Year 6 Enterprise
Last week saw another hugely successful Enterprise Week run completely by the amazing Year 6 children. There was a great variety of stalls from the football competitions and the shooting of water guns at the moving Y6 boy targets to the bespoke bracelets and beautiful bookmarks. There were even a few sweets sold. It is one of the highlights of the year and something that all the children look forward to participating in, either as a stallholder or as a customer. Even the rain did not dampen demand. Well done Year 6!
Harry Potter Tour
On Monday, the Year 6 children travelled to the Harry Potter tour near Watford and had a marvellous time. They were able to see close up some of the original costumes used in the films and even brought home some pieces of fabric that were part of the costumes as they had the VIP experience. The children were a credit to us and thoroughly enjoyed seeing behind the scenes. Now we are going to read all of the books.

Bexton Superstars Shine at the Restless Development Schools Triathlon!
Wow, what an amazing turn out we had last Sunday at the Restless Development Schools Triathlon! We are SO excited to share that a whopping 66 children from Bexton took part! Every single one of you showed brilliant determination, teamwork and energy as you swam, cycled and ran your hearts out. We are incredibly proud of you all – you really did Bexton proud! We’ve had lots of lovely feedback about how fabulous you were on the day and even better, so many of you said that you can't wait to take part again next year which is amazing! This was an incredible achievement - a big round of applause to all our triathlon superstars!

Year 4 Tennis Tournament
A huge well done to our Year 4 mixed tennis team who competed in the recent Knutsford Tennis Tournament against several local schools. The team put in a fantastic performance and proudly secured second place, missing out on first by just half a point! Mr. Waters had the joy of taking the team and was incredibly proud of how they played. They showed outstanding teamwork, determination and great sportsmanship throughout the tournament, supporting one another on and off the court. A brilliant achievement, well done to all involved!

Knutsford Fire Station
Knutsford Fire Station are having an open day on Friday 25th July 12pm - 4pm (SEN hour 11am -12pm). Please find attached more details.

Bees in the trees!
Bexton was lucky enough to host royalty this week! A queen bee and her hard-working entourage created a nest at the far side of the field.
Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Whelan kindly taped off the area as to not disturb our visitors whilst the scouts looked for a more appropriate base.
