Colour Run
Come and join the fun at the Bexton Colour Run 2026 on Friday, 17 April, 3:20 pm - 4:30 pm!
An obstacle course for the kids, running laps of the school field through clouds of colour powder. Fitness, fun and friends coming together in the spirit of the Hindu Holi "Festival of Colour".
Registration is now open on Scopay:
• Entry for £3.50 includes a wristband, which the children can keep as a memento.
• Or for £5.50 your child will get entry to the race, a wristband and a white t-shirt to wear. (You'll need to buy this bundle to pre-order your child's t-shirt by 13 April for delivery in time for the event.)
We're hoping that our wonderful friends and families of Bexton will come along to cheer on the children to make this a special community event and help raise money towards the refurbishment of our much loved Astroturf, which urgently needs replacing.
You can sponsor the children online at https://gofund.me/35e398040. Paper sponsorship forms will also be available for the children to bring home from school.
Lunch Menu Update
We will be introducing a new lunch menu for next term, which is attached.
Alongside this, we are launching ‘Smart Choices’ icons on our menus. These simple symbols will help children easily spot healthier and more sustainable meal options.
The icons are designed as a helpful guide not rules, encouraging children to make balanced choices while still enjoying their meals. They also support the healthy habits children are learning in school in a positive and age-appropriate way.
It’s a small step towards supporting both healthier lifestyles and a healthier planet.
Extra- Curricular Clubs
All extra curricular clubs have now finished for this half term and the new club timetable (Summer 1 2026) will be emailed on Monday 13th April. Bookings will open on Scopay Wednesday 15th April at 12pm and clubs will begin week commencing Monday 20th April.
Congratulations!
During Wednesday’s parents’ evening, our catering team, ABM, organised a raffle. The winners were Reception twins, who received a fantastic Easter hamper kindly donated by ABM.
