Grandparents' Day
Today, we were delighted to welcome grandparents and close family members into school for a very special celebration. The day began with each year group performing a wonderful themed song, which was enjoyed by a hall full of smiling faces and plenty of proud moments.
After the performances, families were invited into classrooms to spend time with the children, sharing their learning and enjoying activities together. To round off the day, our visitors joined the children in exploring the school grounds – a lovely opportunity to see the outdoor spaces that the children enjoy every day.
It was a truly joyful event that brought our school community together. We are so grateful to everyone who was able to join us and help make the day so memorable for the children.

Year 6's Exciting Trip to Blists Hill Victorian Town
On Wednesday 24th September, our Year 6 children embarked on an unforgettable adventure to Blists Hill Victorian Town, where they were transported back in time to experience life as it was in the year 1900. The day was filled with exploration as they wandered through a fully functioning bakery, marvelled at the delights of an incredibly exciting sweet shop and indulged in some scrumptious fish and chips from the local fryer. However, the true highlight of their visit was attending a Victorian school session, where their knowledge of the three Rs - reading, writing and arithmetic - was rigorously tested. We are thrilled to report that the children displayed exemplary behaviour and rose to the occasion splendidly, managing to answer all the questions posed by their stern Victorian teacher! This trip not only enhanced their understanding of the era but also created lasting memories that they will cherish for years to come.
