Team Talk - The Performance Trail

This week we kicked off our very first Pathway Team Talk with the Performance Trail. Children thought about what it feels like to be confident and how being brave can help us share our ideas - whether that’s acting, reading aloud or trying something new. There was lots of laughter (and a few nerves!) as pupils explored how performance can bring out the best in us.
💡At home, you might enjoy chatting about a time you felt nervous but gave something a go — and how you felt afterwards.
Parking Reminder
We must remind all parents and carers not to block driveways or access points when dropping off or collecting children.
Please park legally and considerately at all times so that everyone can arrive and leave safely and that our neighbours can access their homes without issue. Thank you for your cooperation.

School Grounds
We would like to please remind families that the school gates are locked at 3:30pm. To help us keep everyone safe and ensure after-school activities can run smoothly, we ask that children do not play on the adventure playground after school and that parents and carers leave the grounds promptly at home time please. Thank you very much for your support and understanding.
Grandparents' Day
We look forward to welcoming grandparents' next Friday. Please ensure your child has written permission if not done so already (via email to admin@bexton.cheshire.sch.uk or a note their homework diary) if you would like grandparents to collect at the end of the school day.

Barclays Volunteers
This week we welcomed wonderful volunteers from Barclays, who kindly gave up their time to help our school. They helped to paint the school fences, cleared and weeded the garden and spruced up the nursery area. Their hard work has transformed our outdoor spaces and made such a positive difference to our school community. We are truly grateful for their generosity and effort.
Musician of the Month
The musician of the month for September is Bob Marley. The children have learned about him in assembly and enjoyed listening to his music. Attached is the home information sheet so that you can enjoy his music together too.

· Monday - Ball Games now includes Year 3
· Tuesday - Multi-Sports now includes Year 5 and 6
· Wednesday - Lacrosse and Ultimate Frisbee now include Year 5 and 6.

Eco News
Take advantage of the softened soil after the recent rain and get out into the garden. Divide any perennials, plant spring bulbs as suggested in the link, collect seeds such as poppies, and don’t forget to sweep up fallen leaves for the compost bin.
