Homework

Homework tasks this year will give the children the opportunity to reinforce, consolidate and practise what they have been learning about that week in class.

We also ask that the children complete six games on SpellingShed and log at least 6 minutes on Times Table Rock Stars each week.

Thursday 27th November

This week, the homework is maths in the White Rose booklet. The children should complete pages 27 to 29 (3 pages) and this week the task is focussed on multiplying and dividing numbers by 10, 100 and 1000. As a tip for parents, when we talk about multiplying or dividing numbers by 10, 100 or 1000, we think about the digits moving 1, 2 or 3 places to the left or right on the place value chart (rather than adding or removing a '0' as this becomes tricky when we work with multiplying and dividing decimals). Please return the homework by Tuesday 2nd December, so we can mark it together.
