Homework 

Homework will be sent home every Thursday and is due in on the following Tuesday. We will alternate between maths and English each week and details of the week's homework will be posted below. The homework will relate to what we have been learning in class and is a great opportunity to practise and embed the skills learned further.

Please encourage your child to read everyday and record it in their diary. We have given all children their logins for TTRS and Spelling Shed and they are stuck into their diaries (see the file below for guidance of how to log in to Spelling Shed). Each week we will set some activities on Spelling Shed around our focus spellings of the week for the children to have a go at. There are also fun games on there too. We know the children worked so hard on their times tables in Year 4, so please do encourage them to continue using TTRS this year, it makes such a difference to them when applying their times tables knowledge in our maths lessons if they can keep practising regularly, short 10 minute sessions can work really well.

Please complete the White Rose workbook pages 71 - 74, which is on area and perimeter. Please return the homework by Tuesday 13th May, so we can mark it together.

Remember to go on Spelling Shed and TT Rock Stars too. Short 10 minute sessions work well.
