Disco Success!
What a fantastic disco we had last week! It was our biggest one yet and the children (and Mrs. Armstrong!) strutted their stuff to plenty of disco classics - with all songs skilfully played and coordinated by DJ Kilshaw 😉.
A huge thank you goes to all our wonderful families for organising the logistics of getting the children there. It was a great evening of fun that also raised an amazing £1,450 towards the replacement of our Astro turf!
We’d also like to give special thanks to our Year 4 parents and the staff who generously gave up their Friday evening to help run the event. We really do appreciate the time and effort you give to support the school and make these events such a success.
School Photos (Reception - Year 6) Wednesday 5th November
On Wednesday 5th November the children will be having their school photo taken. Please ensure your child is dressed in full school uniform.Â
PE Lessons on that day: Year 5 will need to come to school in their uniform and bring their PE kit in a bag and Reception can remain in their school uniform for the day.Â
Views Wanted on Walking and Cycling in Knutsford
Knutsford Town Council has launched a survey to identify practical measures to promote walking and cycling in Knutsford and we are asking all parents of children at Knutsford schools to share their views. The focus of the survey is on everyday journeys – such as travelling to school and work. The survey will inform a new active travel plan for Knutsford through which the Town Council will identify a range of practical measures to make walking and cycling easier, safer and more convenient for all. The survey is open until 30th November and can be competed in 5 minutes here: https://forms.office.com/e/ZDiGn4fji4
Bexton Adult Choir
Do you love to sing? The Bexton Adult Choir, run by Mrs Vale, is returning for Christmas and will be performing at the KS2 Christmas concert on 17th December. Parents, carers and relatives are all welcome and you don't need to be able to read music. Please see the attached flyer for details of rehearsals (starting 17th November) and how to sign up online. Please sign up no later than 7th November.
Musician of the Month
The musician of the month for October is Tracy Chapman. The children have learned about her in assembly and enjoyed listening to her music. Attached is the home information sheet so that you can enjoy her music together too.
Lunch menu and Payments
After half term, the school lunch menu will be changing, please see attached the new menu.
A reminder to please check your child’s lunch account on Scopay and clear any outstanding debt before Monday 3rd November. Thank you for your support and cooperation.

Eco News
If you’re carving pumpkins for Halloween this year, don’t let the leftovers go to waste — they’re perfect in the kitchen. From soups and hummus to biscuits and cakes, there are loads of great ideas on the BBC Good Food website. My personal favourite is the Halloween pumpkin cake. Enjoy!
Happy Birthday!
Happy birthday, thank you, for your lovely books!
