Welcome to Bexton Reception Class 2023-2024

We have been very busy welcoming our new class. The children have been settling into their new routines and developing their independence. They have been learning where to put their coats, bags and drinks bottles.  We have also spent lots of time outdoors on the climbing frame, in the playhouse and using the water area.  As they start to settle into school we can't wait to start our dough disco and squiggle whilst you wiggle sessions to give us strong hands for writing. We have started to teach phonics using the 'Floppys Phonics' scheme and look forward to sharing their reading books at home

The year group is split into two classes and we have lots of adults to support the children.
